What we do
Tile is the trade.
Bathrooms are the specialty.
STW started as a tile business and grew into full bathroom renovation. That order matters — the tile isn't subcontracted out at the end. It's the whole reason the job looks the way it does.

Bathroom Remodeling
→Demo to finish. Showers, tubs, vanities, floors, lighting, paint. Most take one to three weeks.

Accessible Baths
→Curbless showers, heated floors, pocket doors.

Kitchen & Backsplash
→Backsplashes, kitchen floors, feature walls.

Tile Work
→Ceramic, marble, VCT, carpet tile, laminate, hardwood.

Commercial
→Restaurant and retail buildouts, on schedule.

Outdoor Living Areas
→Pergolas, paver patios, stonework, retaining walls. The same crew, outside.
Accessible bathrooms
Other contractors said it couldn't be done.
“Everything on my wish list got the same answer from Daniel: no problem. My husband said he should rename the company No Problem Remodeling.”Homeowner · Aging-in-place primary bath
- Curbless, wheelchair-accessible shower
- Heated tile floors
- Pocket doors and a widened footprint
- Second sink, soaking tub, laundry moved in
- Two windows relocated
Before & after
Same room. Three weeks apart.
Nobody calls us because their bathroom is fine. They call because they've stopped seeing it as a room and started seeing it as a problem.
Recent work
Look at the corners.
Anyone can set a tile in the middle of a wall. The job is won or lost where the tile meets the trim, the drain, and the door.
Commercial
We've tiled buildings you've eaten in.
Restaurant remodels, gas station buildouts, dealership floors. Commercial work runs on somebody else's schedule, and we've never been the reason a store didn't open.

Reviews
What people say afterward.
“No Problem Remodeling”
My husband and I both have mobility challenges, and we wanted a primary bath we could age into. Enlarge the room, curbless shower, heated floors, pocket doors, move two windows. Several contractors talked us down. Daniel said no problem to all of it — and then did it. Two years in, we still love the room.

Excellent work, very professional, and they met my schedule. These are true craftsmen. I highly recommend this company.

The ones we get asked most.
Don't see yours? Call the office at (540) 421-8344.
How soon can you start?
Usually two to three weeks out, depending on the season and what's already on the schedule.
How long does a bathroom take?
One to three weeks, depending on how much is being moved. A tub-to-shower conversion is fast. Relocating plumbing and windows is not.
Who will actually be in my house?
A crew of two works the job start to finish. Daniel oversees the prep work — the part that gets covered up and can't be fixed later — and does the intricate detail work himself.
How long have you been doing this?
Daniel has been in construction for over twenty years. He started as a carpenter at fourteen, learned tile at twenty, and has built three houses and remodeled two of his own since. STW has been in business since 2012.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We'll send you both, just ask.
Do you do commercial work?
We do. McDonald's remodels, 7-Eleven and Dunkin' buildouts, and auto dealership floors across Virginia.
Got it. Thank you.
We'll call you back within one business day. If it's urgent, reach Daniel directly at (540) 421-4740.
